The new Glock Slimline Series now available at Impact Guns

On January 2, 2018, Glock unveiled two new additions to the Glock Slimline Series; the G43X- 9mm  and the G48- 9mm pistols. Glock is a leading global force in the manufacture of firearms, and their signature polymer-based pistols established their handguns as favorites for law enforcement and military use.

With a width of 28mm, the G43X's profile is slightly wider than the G43 and slimmer than the G19. The G43X Silver Slide features the Slim 01 magazine which has a maximum capacity of ten 9mm Luger rounds.

The G48 Slimline pistol has a 106mm barrel under its PVD coated Silver slide. Apart from its slim nature, the G48's profile is similar to that of Glock's G19. Identical to the G43X, the G48 uses the Slim 01 magazine which is compatible with a maximum of ten 9mm Luger rounds.

Why the Slimline?

1. The Slimline Silver Slide Firearms are highly concealable: The Glock Slimline Silver Slide firearms are slimmer and highly concealable. With a width of only 28mm, both the G43X and the G48 are thinner than Glock's G19. The G43X features a 3.41 inch/87mm barrel, making it shorter than the G48 and highly concealable.

4. Higher Magazine capacity: Before the Slime line, Glock's highly concealable firearm was the G43. The G43, however, came with one disadvantage; it only carried six rounds. Slimline's new G43X is as long as the G43 but carries more cartridges. Both Guns in the Slimline Silver Slide series have a maximum magazine capacity of 10 rounds; bringing the G19's features in a slimmer and shorter frame.
